Earthquake Hits Karachi Today; No Injuries or Damage Reported

Karachi experienced mild tremors on Tuesday as an earthquake struck the city and surrounding areas. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the quake measured 3.5 on the Richter scale and occurred at a shallow depth, with the epicenter located near the outskirts of the city.

Residents in various parts of Karachi reported feeling the ground shake briefly, prompting concern and precautionary evacuations in some buildings. However, there have been no reports of injuries, fatalities, or property damage.

Authorities have urged the public to remain calm and follow safety guidelines in the event of aftershocks. The PMD continues to monitor seismic activity in the region and assures citizens that no immediate threat has been detected.
