Bahria Town Islamabad Roads Submerged After Torrential Rainfall

Heavy rainfall in Islamabad’s Bahria Town transformed roads into fast-flowing streams, leading to severe urban flooding that left residents stranded and daily life in disarray. The downpour created dangerous conditions, making travel nearly impossible and causing widespread water damage in residential areas.

The situation closely resembled the unfolding emergency in neighboring Rawalpindi, where rescue operations are in full swing. Pakistan Army helicopters and emergency response teams have been deployed to evacuate families trapped on rooftops. With further rain in the forecast, authorities remain on high alert, urging citizens to stay indoors and avoid flooded routes. Meanwhile, residents are demanding better drainage systems and quicker government response to prevent such chaos in the future.
