Karachi: A special awards ceremony was held to recognize and honour the dedicated service of Pakistan Navy personnel, where 267 individuals—including officers, sailors, and civilian staff—received military honours and commendation certificates.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, presided over the event as chief guest, personally congratulating the recipients for their commitment and exemplary service to the nation.
According to an ISPR statement, 13 officers were awarded the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), while 11 others received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military) in recognition of their professional excellence and dedication.
Additionally, 183 Master Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers, and sailors were conferred the Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) for their meritorious service. The ceremony also saw commendation certificates awarded to 60 officers, sailors, and civilians for their outstanding contributions in their respective roles.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf praised the professionalism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Navy, emphasizing its critical role in safeguarding the country’s maritime interests and maintaining regional stability.
The event underscored the Navy’s focus on recognizing and rewarding excellence across all ranks, fostering a culture of dedication, morale, and national pride.
