Pakistan Railways to Offer Free Wi-Fi on 40 Passenger Trains

Pakistan Railways is set to enhance the travel experience by launching free Wi-Fi services on 40 passenger trains across the country. This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing digital transformation aimed at improving convenience and connectivity for commuters.

According to officials, the Wi-Fi service will be introduced in phases, starting with major intercity trains. Passengers will be able to access the internet during their journey, allowing them to stay connected, work, or enjoy entertainment on the go.

This development is expected to significantly boost customer satisfaction and modernize railway infrastructure. The initiative reflects the government’s broader commitment to upgrading public transport and promoting digital inclusion across Pakistan.
